Ukraine must regain the glory of the aircraft state and put an end to the history of the production of the An-70 aircraft, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during a visit to the Antonov State Enterprise, where the AN-70 body rolling out took place.
"I am very pleased to attend and participate in this event. The history of the struggle for the AN-70 is very long. The sooner we begin the test and mass production, the faster we will put a point. The AN-70 will allow the company and Ukraine having a sustainable future. Ukraine must regain the glory of the aircraft state," Azarov said.
He also said that the government intends to support the aviation industry as a whole. Azarov also noticed that the An-70 project is an example of deep cooperation with the Russian Federation.
"This is a practical example of how we can and should work," the Prime Minister said.
