As of December 18, the grain export from Ukraine amounted to 13.36 million tons, acting agrarian policy and food minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk said at the final board with participation of the chairmen of the regional government departments, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to the official, this export result has been achieved for the current marketing year (July of 2012 – June of 2013). As of today, 5.7 million tons of wheat were exported (including 4.85 million tons of milling wheat), as well as 5.66 million tons of corn and 1.82 million tons of barley.

In addition, according to Prysiazhniuk, the portside grain elevators have 1.07 million tons of grains, including 119 thousand tons of wheat.

The official noted that the oilseeds, grains and sunflower oil are the main part of Ukraine’s agricultural export.
