Profession of policeman is one of the most necessary and most respected professions in the society, congratulatory message of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov to employees and veterans of internal affairs of Ukraine on the occasion of the professional holiday, the Police Day, reads.
"The police protects the rights, honor and dignity of people and the interests of the state from illegal acts, ensure peace and tranquility in the society," Azarov says.
"Today, you are giving an answer to the new challenges and tests, but I am confident that your loyalty oath, conscious sense of responsibility and a positive experience will contribute to the effective implementation of the objectives," the message reads.
The Prime Minister believes that the dedicated work of the police will continue being the key to multiplying the good traditions of service to the Ukrainian people and strengthening the authority of the police.
Azarov wishes the police good health, inspiration, professional success and inexhaustible vitality to successfully perform the sacred duty to the Fatherland.
