Ukraine is going to implement the EU recommendations to improve the legal system, and in this context the government is ready to cooperate and compromise with the broad opposition, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the meeting with former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and former president of the European Parliament Pat Cox, the Cabinet’s press service informs.

The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine considers generally positive assessment of the situation in the country, given during the meetings of the EU Council of Ministers and the European Parliament.
In turn, Pat Cox said that if the EU decides on the continuation of the European observer mission, he and Alexander Kwasniewski are ready to assist in this matter.

"We could make a contribution to the establishment of such a dialogue, which would allow approaching the signing of the Association Agreement," Cox said.

Prime Minister of Ukraine supported the initiative.

Kwasniewski cited an example of the states, which have recently joined the European Union, particularly Poland and the Baltic countries, where "it was the unity of all political parties to make the necessary reforms."
