In October, the population of Ukraine increased by 0,002% or by 1.1 thousand people compared with September, and as of November 1, it amounted to 45 560.3 thousand people, the press office of the State Statistics Service reports.
As of November 1, the urban population numbered 31 363.1 thousand, which is by 0.05% or by 16.3 thousand people more compared with October 1, while the rural population amounted to 14 197.2 thousand, which is by 0,1%, or 15.2 thousand people less compared to the previous month.
In turn, the population of Ukraine increased for the first time only by one hundred people in September.
