Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine Jon Elvedal Fredriksen believes that the settlement of gas issue with Russia is still very important for Ukraine, he said at the meeting of the Strategic Discussion Club on topic "National security of Ukraine in the context of recent changes in foreign and domestic policy," ForUm correspondent reports.
"We heard from our Ukrainian partners that pressure from the East is growing. That is why, issues on national security should be thoroughly discussed," the diplomat said.
He also noted that the settlement of energy efficiency problems, the creation of a favorable investment climate, as well as the further fight against corruption could solve this issue.
