Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes that Ukraine’s Prime Minister Mykola Azarov will continue being the consistent supporter of strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries, he said in a congratulatory message on the occasion of Azarov’s 65th birthday.
"You have the deserved respect in Ukraine and in Russia as the experienced and talented politician, the consistent supporter of strengthening the friendly relations between our countries," Putin said.
"You and I have always worked closely and constructively. I am confident that you will continue dealing effectively with multiple tasks of economic modernization and improvement of living standards, actively promoting the further expansion of mutually beneficial Russian-Ukrainian partnership," the message reads.
Putin wished Azarov good health, happiness, prosperity and new successes.
