Swedish coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, one of the two candidates for the post of Ukraine head coach, has agreed to preliminary talks with the Football Federation of Ukraine.

As the first vice president of the FFU Anatoly Popov informed, Ericsson will soon fly to Kyiv, where he will discuss terms of cooperation with the FFU president Anatoly Konkov and head of coach council Mykola Fomenko.

If an agreement is reached, Ericsson and Fomenko will present their programs to the executive committee and then the final decision will be taken.

If the Swede will not be satisfied with the conditions offered to him, Popov allows any progression of events, including the appearance of additional candidates for the vacant post.
