There are no grounds for raising housing and communal services tariffs, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said on air of 1 +1 TV channel, the Cabinet’s press service informs.

He recalled that in 2010 the government was forced to meet the requirements of the International Monetary Fund to obtain loan. "In 2010, due to the fact that the previous government left the treasury empty and large debt, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was forced to meet several requirements of the International Monetary Fund to obtain a loan," Azarov said.

According to him, the government has conducted serious work for 2.5 years, which makes possible not to raise tariffs.
