Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak is convinced that each MP must vote in person.

"The Parliament is a platform for debate and each MP should vote individually," Rybak said on the air of the Inter TV Channel on Friday night.

He noted that the voting system with a "touch button" was installed in the Parliament of the previous convocation, however the MPs have not decided on its commissioning, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reports.

"My position is definite. If you come to the Parliament, there is the rule for conducting a session, there are internal regulations, and this is the law, so be so kind and take part in the discussion," the speaker stressed.

Rybak also added that the regulative committee should study the issue of providing personal voting and submit its proposal to the Parliament.
