In the address of the President to the Ukrainian people and the MPs in connection with the beginning of work of the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation, Viktor Yanukovych has urged deputies to ensure effective work of the Parliament.
"I offer you to shake hands and get to work for the benefit of Ukraine. Elections are behind. Serious trials are ahead. Therefore I propose to take a step forward. I urge you to ensure efficient work of the Parliament," Yanukovych has said.
The President has also invited all parliamentary forces to participate in the work of Committee on Reforms and the Constitutional Assembly. "I invite you to participate in the executive branch. The future of our country depends on our total commitment to do these steps today," he has stressed.
Yanukovych also expects the modernization course to be continued that due to joint efforts.
