MP from the UDAR Party faction Iryna Herashchenko asks candidate for speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak to pay attention to the rights of women in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
"There are 44 women in the Parliament. None of them is the head of the faction. Women are deprived of decision-making. How will you deal with it?" Herashchenko asked Rybak.
The candidate for the post of speaker said he did not know a man in the Parliament, who could hurt a woman. "I, together with men, will support women," Rybak added, while the session hall applause.
