"I'm a democratic person. I have always tried to find an understanding in the Parliament not only among the colleagues, but also my opponents. I can not promise much. The specifics of this position requires to find understanding among colleagues at least in key areas," Rybak said.

Despite the fact that about half of MPs have attempted to howl his speech down, Rybak has continued his speech.

"I am always ready to support the deputies, who protect the interests of the voters, who can defend their idea and to compromise. Choose me - I will hear you. And you will listen to me. So we will solve all the problems. People can no longer live with such pension and salary," he said.
