The Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation is already blocked, ForUm correspondent reports.
Representatives of the Batkivshchyna and the Svoboda parties demand a break to discuss, according to them, the illegal declaration of the Communist Party of Ukraine faction.
Presiding over the sitting Oleksandr Yefremov has told MPs that he is not the head of the Verkhovna Rada and has no right to announce a break, to which the Batkivshchyna MP Oleksandr Turchinov said that the Rules have been amended – the presiding over the sitting may announce a break.
Opposition members say they will not allow Parliament to work until the issue is resolved.
