The Party of Regions wants to vote on the candidates for the Prime Minister and the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada today, deputy chairman of the Party of Regions faction Mykhailo Chechetov said on the sidelines of the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We want to vote on two fundamental personnel decisions, on a nominee for the speaker and his deputies, as well as on the Prime Minister, at today's evening session. We will do everything possible to implement this scenario at the evening session," Chechetov said.
According to him, the MPs from the Party of Regions intend to work "all the way" to make these decisions.
"We want to work under the rules, but we’ll see," Chechetov said.
