Today, the Parliament elects Volodymyr Rybak as a speaker and Mykola Azarov as a Prime Minister of Ukraine, MP and member of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Regions Nestor Shufrych told journalists on the sidelines of the Parliament, the PR press service reports.
"I am confident that there will be a required number of votes for the election of Volodymyr Rybak as a speaker of the Parliament," the MP stressed.
"I also believe that there will be no problems with the appointment of Mykola Azarov as a Prime Minister of Ukraine," Shufrych noted. "Moreover, the other factions will also vote for these candidates, including the faction of the Communist Party of Ukraine," the MP expressed his confidence.
