Ukraine is ready to implement joint scientific and technological projects with the U.S., head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Science, Innovation and Information Volodymyr Semynozhenko said during the opening of the third meeting of the Science and Technology Working Group, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In 2010, we established the US-Ukrainian Science and Technology Working Group and it has become an effective tool for the interaction between Ukrainian and American scientists and for implementation of the new ideas as well," he said.
"We are talking about large-scale projects. In particular, these are the new opportunities for large projects in nuclear medicine, space, materials, and biotechnology. We are ready for such cooperation and understand that the U.S., being the leading country setting a lot of new trends, allows raising our common work to the highest international level of scientific recognition," Semynozhenko said.
