Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that he welcomes the decision to hold the EU-Ukraine Summit in early 2013.
The President has named it a long-expected step of the European Union and the European Commission.
"Of course we welcome it. As for practical steps, the Ukrainian party should work on the preparations for the EU-Ukraine summit," he has told journalists in Bangalore on Wednesday.
Moreover, Yanukovych has expressed a hope that the summit will definitely stimulate the Ukraine’s movement towards European integration."
