Leader of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland" Yulia Tymoshenko has asked new MPs to elect Arseniy Yatseniuk as a head of the United Opposition, elected deputy Andriy Shevchenko said.
After the meeting of the faction, which was organized in the newly elected Parliament on Tuesday, Shevchenko said that Tymoshenko’s letter was read at the meeting.
Seven deputies leader of the faction were elected during the meeting. Serhiy Sobolev will be the first deputy, the others - Vyacheslav Kirilenko, Borys Tarasyuk, Dmytro Shlemko, Serhiy Sas, Andriy Ivanchuk and Serhiy Pashynsky.
