The level of cash transactions is being reduced in Ukraine, chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine committee to combat unfair currency transactions Yuri Horshkov said during the hot line "Reasons for introducing 10% tax on foreign currency sale", ForUm correspondent reports.

"Reducing the level of cash transactions is related to the fact that people are gradually coming to understanding that non-cash payments are easier, safer and more comfortable," he said.

Horshkov added that it will be the best option, if the greater part of transaction is in a non-cash form, as that it will speed up the turnover of funds and positively influence the economy in general.
