Ukraine calls on the Syrian authorities to release Ankhar Kochneva urgently, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleksandr Dikusarov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Ukraine demands an urgent release of Ankhar Kochneva and will make determined efforts to discuss this violence against civilian," he noted.
Dikusarov stressed that Ukraine calls on the Syrian authorities to take more active steps to release the Ukrainian journalist.
