In the next few days, Ukraine will have precipitations, which gradually end after December 13, and then the country expects an increase in temperature, director of the Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida said during the briefing, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry reports.
According to him, during the last two days, the snow cover increased from 15 to 40 cm in Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions. The maximum height of the snow cover was observed in Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions.
Kulbida noted that severe weather conditions will be until December 13 in the western, northern and central regions. Heavy precipitations are not expected in south and east, except for Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
