Moscow hopes that Ukraine will join the Customs Union in 2015, Russian President’s aide Sergei Glazyev said at the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the leadership of the Kremlin administration, members of the Cabinet and the Parliament.
"We have a lot of work with Ukraine, trying to convince the Ukrainian leadership to join the Customs Union. The Eurasian Economic Commission and Ukraine have signed two memoranda of cooperation, Ukraine actively interacts with us on a number of sectoral areas, above all, it concerns the military-industrial complex, aerospace, agriculture. However, there is still no progress in its joining the Customs Union. Let's hope this problem will be solved by 2015," he said.
