Administration of the President explains an increase in expenses for law enforcement agencies and courts in the state budget for 2013 compared with the state budget-2012 by the reason that the implementation of the Criminal Procedure Code requires significant funds, first deputy head of the Presidential Administration Iryna Akimova stated during a program on the Inter TV channel.
"You ask about the force authorities and in particular the prosecutors and judicial system. There is a reason why the expenses of budget had to be increased in comparison with 2012. This reason is a need to implement the Criminal Procedure Code," she said.
Akimova stressed that any reform requires significant expenditure.
