Foreign minister of Ukraine Kostyantyn Hryshchenko delivered a speech at the plenary session of 19th meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers, in which he defined key priorities of Ukraine's chairmanship in OSCE, namely settlement of long-lasting conflicts, improvement of security measures, assistance to economic development, including energy security and development of new trade and transport corridors.

The minister also underlined that Ukraine would initiate a new dialogue within OSCE regarding control regime over armed forces in Europe in order to take into account the interests of all OSCE members regardless of their political and military views.

According to the official, Ukraine will pay more attention to combating terrorism, human and drug trafficking, cybercrimes and organized cross-border crimes.

Hryshchenko pointed out that among priorities of Ukraine's chairmanship there would be also the issues of human's rights and freedoms protection within OSCE. Summing up the speech the minister pointed out the necessity to involve civil societies into pursuing OSCE objectives.
