Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated servicemen and veterans of military service on the 21st anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Officers' House in Kyiv.
"Bringing up the patriots, defenders of the Fatherland, the Armed Forces implement an important public mission. The army is a school of courage and valor for young citizens of Ukraine," Yanukovych stressed.
The President wished the servicemen a good health and success in their noble service to the Ukrainian people.
On the occasion of this holiday, the President presented state awards.
