Acting Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has all chances to remain at the post, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych told journalists. According to him, there will be a discussion on whether current government meets the requirements of the present time.
"The matter concerns not only Prime Minister, but the whole team. As for Mykola Azarov, I must say he is one of the best PMs the country ever had. Thus he has big chance to remain at the post, though we do not rule out other candidates," Yanukovych said.
According to the President, the decision will depend on the composition of the team Azarov may present. "I want to hear fresh ideas. Moreover, I accept my personal responsibility and I am ready to share it with the future Premier and his government," Yanukovych added.
