President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Russia Vladimir Putin have held talks within the CIS summit in Ashgabat and intend to continue communication on the sidelines after the extended meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS countries, spokesman of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
According to him, Putin and Yanukovych had a substantive dialogue, and then Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev joined their negotiations.
