More than 90% of applied Ukrainians are entitled to subsidies, deputy social policy minister of Ukraine, chief of staff Vyacheslav Kolomiets told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, as of November 1, 2012, subsidies were paid to 719 thousand families for housing and communal services, which is by 6% more than during the same period in 2011, and to almost 227 thousand families for compensation payments for the purchase of liquefied natural gas, as well as solid and liquid domestic fuel, which is by 10% more than last year," he said.
Kolomiets also added that since November 1, everyone who applied to the relevant bodies has been entitled to get subsidies.
He stressed that anyone can be entitled to subsidies if a family has a right.
