
Youth unemployment remains a big problem in the world, author of the World Development Report 2013: Jobs Yesko Hentschel said during its presentation, ForUm correspondent reports.
"621 million young people are classified as "inactive", meaning they do not study, do not undergo professional training, do not work and do not look for work. In different countries, inactivity rates vary. In the age category of 15-25 years, they range from 10 to 50%," Hentschel has informed.
In addition, he said, the young workers work in low-wage jobs.
