The Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation will hardly be capable, the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"How will they work? It's hard to say. I think everything will be the same. The adoption of law on referendum may help us," Kravchuk said.
He reminded if the Parliament is not competent, the President has a right to dissolve such Parliament. "But it may last for ever. This issue may become a permanent revolution. Then we need to consider an issue how to elect the Parliament that will work to protect the interests of the state," he said.
According to Kravchuk, for example, the referendum may include an issue on a system that should be used to elect the Ukrainian Parliament.
