The first President of the independent Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk supports the introduction of biometric passports.
He noted that he would like to get this passport among the first.
"I was the first to receive the internal passport, it was №1. I will be happy to receive this one as well," Kravchuk has told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the introduction of biometric passports is a normal thing. "If we want to get European visas and this is required by the European community - this is normal thing," he said.
