Ukraine is planning to buy not more than 20 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas per year, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the Ukrainian and Norwegian Business Forum.
He also said that Ukraine is interested in the Norwegian experience of production shale gas.

In addition, the Prime Minister mentioned that Ukraine is ready to discuss with Norway the issue of supplying liquefied gas through LNG-terminal, to be built near Odessa.

"We hope that after the completion of construction (of the terminal - Ed.), we will be able to buy about 10 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas at current spot prices, which are now about 2.5 times lower than the Russian gas price we buy now. We could cooperate with Norway in this regard," Azarov said.
