During celebrations to mark the Day of prosecutors, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych demanded from the law enforcement agencies to stop interfering in the work of entrepreneurs, the President’s press service informs.
According to him, the government's strategic priority is effective conduct of economic and social reforms, implementation of European living standards, guarantee of protection of the constitutional rights of our compatriots, to improve their welfare.
"Large-scale changes, which are now taking place in Ukraine, are performed for the people. Priority among them is the increase in living standards and poverty reduction," Yanukovych said.
According to the President, Ukraine needs to create an attractive investment space and proper conditions for legitimate and successful business to address these problems in the country.
"Thus, I demand from the law enforcement officers to avoid any interference in the work of entrepreneurs. The business climate in the country depends largely on your position," the head of state said.
