As of today, November 29, State Savings Bank of Ukraine has paid 3.98 billion hryvnais of compensation to 4.22 million depositors of former USSR bank, a report of the bank says.
The bank reminds that to obtain compensation for devaluated deposits, depositors must undergo actualization procedure. According to the bank data, already 4.26 million depositors have undergone the actualization.
The bank also informed it pays compensation within the balance of indexed deposits, but not more than 500 hryvnias, to heirs of depositors, who died in 2005-2011 and did not receive compensations within 2005-2009, as well as to heirs of depositors died in 2012.
According to the report, such compensations have been paid to 819 thousand heirs for a total amount of 399 million hryvnias.
