Ten members of the Kyiv City Council have written statements on termination of their powers due to the election to the Verkhovna Rada, secretary of the Kyiv City Council Halyna Hereha told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"11 members of the City Council will receive mandates of MPs soon, that is why ten of them have filed statements on termination of their powers, including seven deputies from the UDAR Party, Valeriy Karpuntsov, Valeriy Ishchenko, Roman Romaniuk, Mariya Ionova and Mykola Palamarchuk," Hereha said.
According to her, statements were also written by deputy Dmytro Andriyevsky, chairman of the People's Party faction Valeriy Moshensky and deputy from the Party of Regions Larysa Melnychuk.
Hereha also noted that only Oleksandr Bryhynets has not yet written a statement on termination of his powers.
