Four subgroups to prepare work of new Parliament

Four subgroups created at the preparatory group meeting will prepare the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation, seating of the deputies in the hall, housing of the nonresident MPs and other organizational issues, head of the procedural committee, PR representative Volodymyr Makeyenko said, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The first subgroup will be engaged in the solemn opening of the session, the second - in the seating of the deputies, the third will deal with the committees and the fourth - procedural issues," he said adding that heads of the subcommittees have not been appointed yet, as the majority wants to solve this issue with the opposition.

In addition, Makeyenko declared that he does not know about the seating of new MPs in the Parliament. Answering a question of ForUm correspondent about the seating of the PR and the CPU in the hall, he said that this issue was to be discussed at today’s meeting. "We would like to discuss this issue publicly, but the opposition has left the meeting," the MP said.
