Presentation of the presidential state program "Affordable housing" will take place in December of current year, vice PM and minister for infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov told a briefing after Cabinet's meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
The vice-PM explained that the financial leasing company will buy out houses from site developers, chosen by program participants. Participants of the programs will have to choose an apartment, provide income certificate, pay 15% of downpayment and can move in immediately, without waiting for the company to verify the provided documents.
Kolesnikov also specified that according to the program, its participants would be able to buy an apartment measuring up to 55 sq m at the rate of 3% per annum.
"Looking for apartments, people pay attention to the quality, thus the state needs high-skilled workers in the construction sector. We need specialists...We are already well provided with economists and lawyers for the next 150 years. We can have unlimited number of litigations worldwide. What we need is constructors and specialists in other industrial sectors, engineering for example," Kolesnikov added.
