Ukraine hopes for successful cooperation with Qatari investors in the implementation of national investment projects, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said in Doha during the presentation of national projects and investment opportunities of our country, the press service of the head of state reported.
"We expect to create an International Medical Rehabilitation Center with unique treatment on the coast of Azov Sea in partnership with Qatari investors," he said.
According to him, the agricultural sector is an important and challenging component of cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar.
The President drew attention to a specific interaction that has already started in this direction. In particular, during the official visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to Qatar in May of 2012, the parties reached an agreement to build a grain terminal in Qatar and the cultivation of feed barley in our state.
The President paid a special attention of the Qatari side to the national project "Quality water", which is particularly relevant in the context of providing citizens with quality drinking water. The President invited Qatari investors to cooperate on this important issue.
