Economic development and trade minister of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is not eager to hold the post of speaker.
"I’ve had so many posts ... It makes no sense to be eager to hold a post (of speaker - Ed.)," he said during Kyiv Post Tiger Conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I want to be maximally effective citizen of Ukraine at the post, where it will turn out better. I would not like to discuss specific posts. As of today I am one of 445 MPs, I'm more concerned about the structure of Parliament, decision-making and how the coalition will be able to hear our pro-government initiatives," he said.
Poroshenko also noted that President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has not signed his letter of resignation from the post of minister, as such a statement is not written.
