The parliamentary elections in Ukraine confirmed the European choice of our country, economic development and trade minister Petro Poroshenko told a conference Kyiv Post Tiger Conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The election results have showed that Ukraine confesses the European values. The vast majority of Ukrainian people have shown a support of the movement in the EU," he said.
According to the minister, Ukraine has still debates about a proper direction of the country. I hope that these elections put a period to this debate. The choice of the Ukrainian people was made, now the politicians should show their work," Poroshenko stressed.
