Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates have signed an intergovernmental agreement on air traffic. The signing ceremony took place in the framework of the official visit of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in the UAE, the press service of the President reports.
The agreement will create a legal ground for scheduled air traffic between Ukraine and the UAE, in particular, will determine an order for regulation of international flights, provide for a mutual recognition of crew members’ certificates and establish conditions for granting and cancel permits of air carriers for scheduled flights.
In addition, the airlines will have an opportunity to enter into commercial arrangements on transportation with joint use of codes, including airlines of a third country.
