The gas to be purchased through LNG-terminal will cost 20% less than gas coming from Russia, head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine Vladyslav Kaskiv said, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We can clearly say that the issue of the availability of resources for the terminal is completely removed – we’ll have the gas. At the moment, negotiations on the best conditions and prices are under way. According to our conservative estimates, the price will be at least 20% lower than that under the contract with the Russian Federation," he said.

Kaskiv also did not rule out that the mass attempts to discredit the project will begin.
"We are ready for this, because let's face it - this project is changing the energy map of the whole region," the head of State Agency for Investment and National Projects said.
