In Abu Dhabi President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has held talks with President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the parties discussed issues on bilateral cooperation.
According to the press service of the President, at the beginning of negotiations Yanukovych thanked the President of the United Arab Emirates for his hospitality. The President also expressed a belief that such high-level meetings contribute to the development of relations between the countries.
"We consider the UAE to be an important partner in the development of trade and economic relations in the East," he said.
Yanukovych also invited the UAE President to visit Ukraine at any time.
UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted that our countries have a good relationship, and they need to be developed for the benefit of the people of Ukraine and the UAE.
"Your visit will extend aspects of the bilateral cooperation," the President of the UAE said. He expressed a hope that the exchange of visits between senior officials of two countries will continue to go on.
