Energy and coal industry minister said that the government created all conditions for reliable transit of the Russian gas to Europe.
"We have accumulated more than 20 billion cubic meters of gas in underground Ukrtransgas storages," energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko told journalists.
"The state has properly prepared for the autumn-winter period and created the conditions for safe transit of the Russian gas to Europe," he added.
According to him, the gas reserves are formed at last year's level. "And a resource of coal is about a million tons more than in 2011," the minister noted.
