The European Union may introduce a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens before the Association Agreement between the European union of 27 countries and its largest direct neighbor in the East entries into force, deputy FM minister of Poland Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz told a conference on eastern policy of the Polish state.

"The issue on abolition of visas for Ukrainian citizens is not connected with the ratification of the Association Agreement and can be solved earlier," the deputy minister said.

The representative of the Polish government said that Poland supports the ratification of the Association Agreement with Ukraine, which includes the creation of free trade area as an integrated document.
