Bill on presumption of consent to recuperation of organs of every Ukrainian after death should be adopted, director of the Kyiv Center of Heart Borys Todurov said at the meeting with Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Ukraine must adopt a law on transplantation, as these people are waiting to die. If you do not give them a legitimate way to solve this problem, they will look for illegal one," he said.
He cited Belarus as an example, where a presumption of consent was introduced and that did not lead to corruption in transplantation.
