Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will offer the preparatory working group to develop a draft resolution providing for a comprehensive approach to the personal vote of each MP, he told reporters in St. Petersburg.

Lytvyn said he will propose to amend the text of the draft resolution on the obligation of personal voting, offered by the opposition, with two more points: the mandatory participation of the MPs in vote - "for", "against" or "abstained" to register his presence at the session hall and the prohibition of carrying strange objects to the session hall, "which have no relation to parliamentary activity."

"We need to take a comprehensive solution to avoid the shameful events that are no compliment to the Parliament and the Ukrainian people and humiliate Ukraine as the state," he stressed.

Regarding personal vote of each MP, Lytvyn noted that it is necessary "just to properly adhere to the Basic Law of Ukraine", which contains the relevant provision. Speaker of the Parliament also reminded of the Constitutional Court clarification on this matter.
