The rate of selling currency by population has raised, chairman of the NBU's Committee for the prevention of dishonest foreign exchange operations Yuriy Horshkov told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
He reported that, compared to last week, daily volume of selling currency by population increased by 50%.
At the same time, Horshkov reminded that a 50 per cent sale of currency coming from export has been introduced. "In my opinion, this figure is more than enough to satisfy existing financial demand," he stressed.
