Today, on November 22, Ukraine celebrates the eighth anniversary of the Orange Revolution on Independence Square.
According to plans of the opposition, there will be the rally on the historic Square. The rally is formally allowed by the Kyiv City State Administration, but pyrotechnics should not be used.
The Freedom Day was celebrated on November 22. This holiday was established on November 19, 2005 by the decree of President Viktor Yushchenko.
On December 30, 2011, President Viktor Yanukovych signed the decree to define January 22 as the day of unity and freedom.
